Trek Bicycles started in 1976 out of an old barn in Waterloo, Wisconsin. They started building steel bikes with a payroll of five. In 1983, their first mountain bikes hit the trail. In 1993 the "9000" was their first full suspension bike. Although Lance Armstrong has helped Trek's name, he definately didn't put them on the map. Trek has been a top mountain bike manufacturer for years now.

Trek's full suspension lines includes the Fuel, Liquid, and Session. A newer entry into the market is the Trek Bruiser.
